This week is a meaningful opportunity to learn about and celebrate the history and cultures of Indigenous Australians. Host educational sessions with Indigenous speakers, or showcase stories and artwork from local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.
How can I celebrate?
Order from our Indigenous-owned vendors to support and highlight their work during this time. You could also organise an afternoon tea featuring traditional Indigenous foods, such as bush tucker or native teas. Encourage employees to participate in reconciliation initiatives or community outreach projects. To create a more immersive experience, decorate the office with Indigenous art or hold a cultural appreciation event that fosters understanding and unity.
